The Waka Sailing Catamaran

The moment you board your 16 meter sailing catamaran in Benoa harbour you begin your unique Waka sailing experience. As you sail out into the Badung strait, relax and enjoy a breakfast of fruit juice, soft drink, coffee, and fresh-baked pastries. Soon, your Balinese crew will hoist the massive mainsail to carry you across the seas to your private beach resort on Lembongan island.

All you have to do is settle back and relax to the sounds of the sea, and the wind in the sail. On the way, we often see dolphins playing in the warm tropical waters, or we troll for surface fish, blue-green mahi-mahi or gun-metal tuna, which become an incredibly fresh addition to your delicious BBQ lunch on the island. We share the glittering open waters with fishing prahus carrying their cargoes to the smaller islands, and you see the great volcano, Gunung Agung (which the Balinese call “the Navel of the world”) emerging from the clouds.

The Waka Sailing Catamaran - sail by catamaran to Lembongan island. All activities - including five hours at our luxury reef club with - table tennis, volleyball, chess, backgammon, surfing, snorkeling or reef viewing from our glass bottom boat, a village tour of seaweed farms and the famous underground house, a beautiful swimming pool, a gourmet spread of island style Indonesian food - are included.

Regular One Day Sailing only available every Wednesday and Saturday.
Hotel return transfer schedule:
- 07.00 - 07.15 : Canggu, Tabanan and Ubud area (a US$ 8 nett /person surcharge applies).
- 07.45 - 08.00 : Jimbaran and Nusa Dua area.
- 08.00 - 08.15 : Kuta, Seminyak and Sanur area.
Prior reservation is required at least 24 hours in advance.
Deposit or full payment should be transferred immediately to secure the booking.
50% charge for cancellation made within 3 (three) days prior to departure date and 100% charge for 24 hours or no show.
High season (15 July - 31 August) and peak season (20 December - 5 January): 50% charge for cancellation made within 7 (seven) days prior to departure date and 100% charge for 3 (three) days or no show.
Infant (0-5 years old): free of charge and children (5-12 years old): 50% discount.
